Legion mage weapon tint conspiracy

So looking over my legion artifact tints and skins recently I got very curious… Why does nearly every skin from the legion artifacts feature a green spell tinted weapon in addition to the more commonly accepted red/blue/purple (fire/frost/arcane)?

Now for sure there are a few other oddball colors like yellow and white.

But even some of the mage tier sets featured this same tint of odd green.

It’s tint is not quite any of the typical shades for magic schools that are green: it’s too dark for fel, too dark for nature and too dark for any undeath.

Is this an Easter egg? Is it a hint at a possible fourth mage magic school? Am I just over thinking it?

What are your opinions?

Because it was a Legion themed expansion, so they gave use legion themed cosmetics.

How is that legion themed? It’s not fel green.

Then it’s just green tints.

Every class got 4 tints, they’re not gonna screw mages out of 4th tints just because they have 3 themed specs.

I think you’re looking a little too much into it.

Well then the first reason. It was the Legion expansion. Fel green and all.

I linked them. Only one is close to fel green.

This more odd green is close to one of the mop mage tints that was green.

I believe there was also a green ToS green mage tint if the exact shade.

So you have multiple weapons and tier sets of a very specific green shade.

I like green. It’s nice to have different shades to choose from.

Looks pretty fel green to me, dude. They gave us green, because fel expansion and because four tints and four basic colors that will match most transmogs. That’s not rocket science. lol

I get being bored and trying to come up with a topic to theorize fun stuff with, but this was not the one. Sorry.
