So, I picked legion on a whim to level a druid and holy crap–this expansion is AWESOME.
The option to join alternative timelines to XP and level characters is probably the coolest idea I’ve ever seen in an mmo for a catch-up mechanic.

I tend to recommend Legion for new players, because of peak class fantasy and sahweet weapon mogs!

Replay it on every new class you level. The class hall campaigns made playing alts fun instead of mind numbing.

There was so much to do in Legion. Anything after that is hard to top which is why I think BFA gets such a bad reputation.

I’ve been chromie time-ing Shadowlands on my DK but seriously considering going back and just doing Legion like I did for my last 3 alts.

Yeah, I’m starting to realize it was a mistake to put any of my non-60s in anything but Legion. It was a good expansion and a good leveling experience.

they don’t even need that anymore. they removed the chromie time restrictions in 10.1.5.
You can now create a fresh character and go straight to Chromie.

They need to let max level chars use chromie time to go back to old expansions and have their power adjusted down to that content

You can just go there even without Chromie time.
The entire world still scales. I’m pretty sure Legion is 10-40 without chromie time.
Do people seriously think they deleted all the quests in the game or killed level scaling (a feature prior to chromie time) if you don’t have CT active???
