I want to craft a headpiece for Transmog on one of my new characters, but when I open my window and minimize for Legion I only have two patterns that I personall got matrix for hunters and I can’t remember the other one off the top of my head, but they all require Bloods of Saragaras. But if I go to wow-professions(.)com it recommends a recipe I don’t have and the trainer will not teach me. I’m confused on what is happening here. I’ve googled it a bit and found out there’s a quest to start Legion Engineering, but they trainer won’t give it to me. So I’m kinda stuck it seems.
Legion professions were an experiment, you learn the majority of your patterns through a long quest chain and not the usual way from trainers or vendors. Each one is a little different.
For Engineering you start with Aww Scrap! from Hobart Grapplehammer in the engineering building in Dalaran. If the character you are talking about is level 60 he may need to turn on Trivial Quest tracking to see it. If Hobart definitely isn’t offering it, is it possible you started it and left off the chain somewhere? To check that you would kind of have to run through the quest chain - you can see the progression on Wowhead:
Check the Storyline scroll on the right which outlines the entire chain.
