Hello, been working on my lvl 29 DK, with the intention of buying the three whelpling pets. I have gotten all three artifact weapons. What else needs to be done to unlock these pets now? In Legion we had to max out our artifact weapons, obviously not an option now. I don’t see anything helpful on wowhead.

To clarify: it seems you no longer need Power Ascended to buy the DK battle pets. After finishing the Broken Shore questline I was able to purchase all 3 from Slimy. I also didn’t need to do the specialization quest for each spec. I only did Blood and could buy all 3 pets.
Not really clear what the pre-reqs are now but sounds hopeful.
