Legion classmount / removing yell roar sound from dire wolfhawk

I loved the legion classmount but was always annoyed that my nightelf would yell everytime he summoned it, leading me to use other mounts. I found a solution using addons.

If you dont like the roar that happens while casting it, you can use the _mute annoying wow sounds" addon.

  1. Download the addon, and add it to your wow retail directory
  2. Find which directory the specific sound is in. For night elves its programfiles(x86) / worldofwarcraft / retail / Sound/Character/ pcdhnightelfmale/
  3. KEEP files: vo_dhnightelfmale_charge_01"-10
  4. DELETE the rest of the files and folders. The mod works in reverse by keeping the sound files you want to delete.

Roaring is the best part of the mount.

I main a Worgen, Iā€™m keeping the roar.
