I’ve been leveling another character in Legion and was trying to focus on the class campaign because I never did it all on my Death Knight back in legion. When I hit 50 though, the class quests no longer give good xp and say low level. I can still do the zone quests for xp but why do these not scale to 60 as well? The mission table missions stop giving xp at 49 as well - I had started one earlier and by the time it was done I was over 50 and got no xp.

because they were made for LEGION only.
Then Legion shouldn’t be a Timewalking option if that’s the case.

/facepalm. these are quests designed around LEGION ARTIFACTS. which are no longer available. this is WHY THEY DON’T SCALE. because they were based around a expansion only borrowed power mechanic. but yes let’s disqualify legion because you’re upset about some irrelevant quests not scaling.

Of course the actual artifacts wouldn’t scale, but the quest XP should absolutely scale if you’re using Chromie Time. Why on earth wouldn’t it? It does for all the quests in every other xpac, right?

These quests are far from irrelevant. The entire xpac was built around these quests, and they contain a lot of lore.

Then Legion shouldn’t be available for Timewalking if all Quests don’t scale.
And lose the attitude. I wasn’t rude at all to you yet you cannot even hold your toxicity in despite that.

Yeah I mean outside of actually unlocking the artifact weapons, the rest of the quests are just story focused on what your class is doing to battle the legion. It’s definitely not obvious or expected they would not scale since they just give regular xp rewards like any other quests. It’s not priority number one or anything, just confusing and a bit disappointing.
As it happens, I have a level 58 warrior I’m leveling in WoD atm. I took her off to Legion, just to see what kind of XP I’d get there, vs. what I’m seeing in WoD. It’s actually more XP for the first Legion quest I got, which is “Return to the Broken Shore,” the first quest of any significance for the warrior class hall chain. I see 11,820 xp for this quest.
OTOH, for a regular WoD quest, “The Kaliri Whisperer” in Spires of Arak, I’d get 9,480 xp.
All that’s to say, are you sure you didn’t somehow get bumped out of Chromie Time? Just a thought, since I don’t know why else you’d be seeing reduced xp at 50, while I’m seeing more xp there than WoD, both in Chromie Time.

If you are playing Legion for Lore than you arent doing it for the XP, or you’ll do it despite that…

Right now I have Vault of the Wardens: A Masterpiece of Flesh which is a dungeon quest and is gonna give 558 xp at level 52, and Aggregates of Anguish which is gonna give 852 xp. All of the mission table quests that give xp say “Does not work for players over 49”. I have a breadcrumb quest to start the Azsuna questline and it gives 962. I’m a decent way into the campaign at this point, I don’t see why that would matter though.
It is certainly strange if it really does that. As if it was not updated to support DF’s leveling curve, because in Shadowlands it was indeed working like this as lvl 50 was BfA max lvl and the start of the SL campaign.
In DF it should do the same but with +10 levels(so at lvl 60, start of DF campaign) going by common sense.
Just to make sure I went back to Chromie and picked select a different timeline, but Legion was grayed out and Legion dungeons still show up, so I am definitely in the Legion timeline. I’m just doing the Legionfall campaign and probably some Argus quests instead now. I’ll put a bug report in though, cause I doubt this was intended.
In shadowlands Chromietime stopped at 50 since 50-60 was the current expac. I think when they did Dragonflight they just missed a few things and didn’t upgrade those missions for the new level of 60. Def an oversight.

Did you miss where the OP is leveling through Legion? These quests are part of the leveling process, and should have been scaled properly to Chromie Time like all the rest.
Disagree all you want, but it is an issue, and should be corrected.
What the heck is wrong with people who act like things like this don’t matter? Is it because it doesn’t matter to you? Or is it because you just don’t care whether Blizzard puts out a quality product that isn’t full of bugs and inconsistencies?
