Since Crafting update you can not progress in legion blacksmithing when npc teachs you recipes that you have to craft “Craft recipes” they are not added to your recipes therefor you cannot craft them learn more or level your blacksmithing

Can confirm that Legion Tailoring is also affected.
Quest specific crafted item recipes don’t show up in the crafting window.
[Advanced Needlework] = No Embroidered Silkweave Robe on the list so we are unable to proceed with the tradeskill quests.

I can also confirm that Legion Tailoring is busted with that quest, and I can’t progress.
The recipe for the quest doesn’t exist in the UI panel. Tested without addons to rule out issues and it was still happening.

Same issue with Legion LW. I have submitted an in-game bug report as well.

There is a workaround that I can confirm that this works and I have completed quest.
Eg for Blacksmiths stuck on “Leysmithing Mastery”
Run each of the below add it to your action bar:
/run PickupSpell(183279) - Leystone Bar
/run PickupSpell(183280) - Heated Leystone Bar
/run PickupSpell(183281) - Leystone Cuffplate
/run PickupSpell(183283) - Leystone Fingerguard
/run PickupSpell(183562) - Handcrafted Leystone Gauntlets
*Dont include anthing past the brackets
To get the spell ID’s for what you need for your crafts:
Head to wowhead.com and search for your desired profession recipe/pattern. Once you’re on the page, the recipe ID will be on the URL, in this case, leystone bar has the following URL
(https://www.wowhead.com/spell=183279/leystone-bar)

Same issue, and the workaround seemed to work for me as well.
@blizzard … here’s a novel idea, and I know this is wayyyyy out there. But maybe just combine the old expacts and have the ish learned from all the trainers… I know it’s far out there, but hear me out. THEN you don’t have to worry about this expansion specific nonsense.

Yup had the same issue with tailoring on two different alts while leveling through Legion.
