Legion artifact items (e.g. arcane/frost) are still dropping at ilvl 50 while gear is dropping at 163.

The base item has always been extremely low ilvl (ilvl 20 in SLs) and needs relics to get it up to your level. I can’t guess if this is a bug or intended.
The base item was fine in Shadowlands because it matched the rest of the ilvl gear from Legion.
In 10.0.2 they buffed all leveling gear but this did not get touched so artifact items are currently gimped

During Legion a level 40 would still get an ilvl 20 artifact.
The relics themselves are busted is the problem. They are stuck at low ilvls so my ‘upgraded’ artifact is not automatically scaling up nor can I farm new high ilvl relics.
Relics in raids are high ilvl. I have all 168 i think it is from antorus mythic. Only issue is shift right clicking the artifact weapon doesnt work and i cant slot the actual relics
