if that’s the mage tower one i don’t think they’re gonna be opening that up anytime soon sadly, it was a one time thing and the developers don’t seem too keen on changing it, there’s still unobtainable stuff even to this day that went into the game years and years ago
Yeah it’s the mage tower one. True. Hopefully they reintroduce it one day.
Wish I could downvote it for disagreeing, but Blizzard took that function away long ago.
This was a tower challenge skin awarded for doing the tower challenge. I feel for you for missing out on it, there were a few tower skins I missed out on, but we aren’t entitled to challenge skins we didn’t get at the time because we didn’t do the work required to earn them when they were current content. Two primary issues here: first and foremost they were advertised as limited time rewards for an entire year during the expansion; second, the entire game can’t be tuned to reflect the systems and class design of that expac.
Same goes for every other challenge mode skin from previous expansions. I would love to get the WOD daggers for my rogue, but I couldn’t be bothered to do the challenges at the time. The MOP shoulders for my death knight would be phenomenal, but I was actively avoiding the game at the time. I didn’t do the work when Blizzard said I should do the work, so I’m not entitled to reap those rewards.
It’s the exclusivity of those rewards, and my envy of those who have them, that motivated me to make sure I did all of the challenges in Legion I knew I was either wanted to do, or would regret having not done at a later time.
It’s unfortunate, but sometimes when you snooze, you lose.
I would support either a watered-down version, like the class hall armor sets, or a Legion specific server similar to Classic, though.
I wanted the shaman ones too. I didn’t get around to my shaman in time and lost out.
I don’t want the appearances brought back. They were there to show you did it when it was current content.
