Two legendary one-handed weapons that when both equipped, turn into a two-handed with even greater power.
Hmm, if only there was a sword known for this property that already existed in the WoW universe that we might somehow take possession of…
Pretty sure Everquest did this with the warrior “epic weapon” back in early 2000s.
Like that swords/sword from zul’farrak?
Or hear me out. Double bow legendary allows hunters to duel wield bows.
kidding aside, cool idea but didn’t Varian already do this?
Can you imagine the outrage from the people who could only get one of them? Of course there’d be outrage from those who didn’t get either, like there is with the current legendary. But imagine someone who got one and couldn’t get the other.
You want a bloodborne trick weapon as a legendary in WoW? I don’t think that’d work considering the only class which could somehow utilize something like that would be fury.
So could fury get the 2h and then another 1h set…for the SMH parse lulz of course.
Could you use the 2h and the 1h at the same time?!
Could you attach a 3rd-5th sword to make Voltron?
Why stop at 2 swords….
I mean… Death Knights, Blood and Unholy use 2-handers, and Frost typically dual-wields. Plus, prot warrior and paladin (and holy if it had int on it) could use one of the one-handers with their shield, and use the 2-hand version in ret, arms, and as you pointed out, fury. So basically it would be another plate class legendary that isn’t solely for DPS/Blood DK. (Let evokers dual-wield.)
Unless they also bring 2h Enhancement back and give Survival hunters the option to dual wield.
So… FF14s new Viper class?
