Strength users just had a legendary. The chance they do another strength one nevermind one JUST for ret paladins is so minuscule its not even worth measuring. (They would have to give every spec a legendary at that point).
Also what is up with ret paladins wanting everything under the sun, they want a heroic leap, they want the perma horse thing Dk’s are getting, they want their own legendary. Are they all 10 years old?

Purely the color they decided to give it. Gavel by far has been more powerful than any leggo weapon ever introduced in wow and that was just a trash purple.
Sometimes* harder to get and it tends to be more powerful than other gear.

I hope my class doesn’t get one less ots a static boss drop. I don’t wanna grind some awful quest for a stat stick.
Hope not, sick of having a legendary.
Don’t forget the part where your spec gets nerfed to compensate for the expecation that you will have a legendary, meaning having one doesn’t make you more powerful it just lets you achieve parity.

Next legendary should be a 2h agi weapon, since druids and monks did not have anything at all so far.

next legendary should be everyone or no one, forcing a handful of classes to do extra work to reach parity is just punishing players for playing those classes.

In that case it would be better to create the final legendary weapon as a crafted item, which simply gets created from a legendary spark, that replaces the ordinary spark. So you can create a legendary weapon for any spec and class you want.

If they get another legendary after already getting one in the Emerald Dream Blizzard really has run out of ideas… give spell casters something or hey new knives for rogues tinged with void or something… a void themed legendary for shadow priests maybe…but no more paladin legendary for a while
The next legendary should be on theme to the expac. Whether that’s everyone or only some, as long as it makes sense for the expac.
It’s absolutely silly that the DF non-Evoker Leggo was for 2H str classes when the entire story of the expac was fighting the primal elements and protecting the Emerald Dream. How the heck Shaman and Druids didn’t get a leggo is mind-boggling. Especially since Enhance hasn’t had a legendary since T2 Vanilla and Feral/Guardian has NEVER had one.
Plus the Feral/Guardian one could have worked for Survival Hunters who haven’t had one since Sunwell in TBC, and giving Enhance a pair of axes could have also worked to give them to DH (who have also never had a legendary weapon). Either the agi 2h for druids or the agi 1h’s could have been given to monks as well since they’ve never had a leggo weapon either.
Just straight up duh opportunity to fill long standing historical legendary gaps, and they dropped the ball entirely.
Lets be honest here, this is blizzard. It’s either going to be a 2h strength weapon, or a bow.

Only if it’s Shadow only. I do not want to go through all the hoops they added for the last two or have to spend millions of gold.
We don’t need a legendary.
What we do need is a gap closure plus removal of range of some of our abilities.
A to target only wings of liberty is what is needed.
Nah, Demon Hunters need Full Legendary Armor Weapons and Accessories, just to make them even more OP.
