I don’t get it, they go through the trouble of making a full complete looking set. Which looks awesome by the way…
But you can only use one piece of it at a time, and you do not unlock it as an appearance ?
So why spend the resources making its own full set look when you can’t even show a character wearing the full set?

Don’t you unlock it as an appearance when you craft it as a legendary?
You can’t transmog white gear, you can transmog legendary gear though.
If you make all the pieces to the set, and make them a legendary, you can transmog them.
I believe that’s right, could be wrong though.

Right now, no. It follows the old rules of not going into transmog collections.
Probably because they don’t want people mogging a new legendary on a different character that doesn’t have it.
It’ll change later on.
They probably had a lot of stuff to finish before launch and since people won’t be able to make all the legendaries for a long time, maybe it was left for later?

I can’t wait to attain the other color tints, the blue/purple sets look especially nice.
What’s particularly silly is the shadowghast chestplace is so ugly but the version that pops up when the rune carver is MAKING IT, looks SO good, with buckles and everything. But what you get is the standard painted on trash.
At least the helm and shoulders look cool.
Can you still not transmog a legendary? I can’t even revert my legendaries to their original appearance because I don’t have the option to.
