Legendary Seed in Queen's Conservatory was a Legendary waste of time

I planted the legendary seed I got from upgrading the Queen’s Conservatory for the Night Fae to level 2. It was double buffed with some additional seed plots (or whatever they are called) which is supposed to increase the loot gains. The loot I got from it was hardly better than green/blue seeds (of which I have +10). I got some random battle pet, and various fish that I could easily farm in under 30 minutes. How is that considered legendary?

I’m also coming to realize how much of a waste of time all the additional covenant stuff is. All it amounts to is some measly transmog. There’s nothing to make your character stronger, aside from ash missions which are damn-near impossible. If there’s gear from the command table, it’s 20 ilvl lower than what you already have. The dailies give gold and rep. Big whoop! I’m never doing any of this unrequired stuff again.

yeah the whole conservatory thing is a huge waste of time.
several days for a bunch of crap that i can get much more by farming for a few minutes, i wonder how they thought this was a nice idea.

Im not touching most buildings , just the anima conductor to kill specific rares/get access to more tributes .

I will or will not regret it later on , just know that NF doesn’t fit rogue enough to justify using that anima on cosmetic over simply mounts

No content nonsense that is meaningless with a story going no where

The 200 IQ play is to level the transport network first for that sweet port to oribos.

I think we should hold the good ones until its fully unlocked, then you can super amp it up and get mounts and stuff.

Never upgraded this and no plans too. If I needed “great” packages of herb and rock I get this off my soul bind random chance of a care package.

Or…the char that is fae is double gather and my enchanter can make the enchant for fast collect for the 2 to 3 weeks it takes to see new Better gear easily enough lol.

I just collect up the anima really for the oh, you need say 2000 for something to move the story along catch I will predict will come at some point.

Blizzard said the covenant rewards from fluff like the Queen’s Conservancy are primarily optional and cosmetic. The signature ability and soulbinds are all that will ultimately impact your toon’s power.

I’m glad anima isn’t THAT important. There is a lot of grinding with Torghast and the Maw.

‘‘A legendary waste of time’’ is the name of the game, more prevalent this time around. Sadly, cause I wanted it to work and things looked good but damn did they do a 180 with their design approach and made things ULTRA neutered.

Rofl complaining about Conservatory when The Ember Court exists.

Imagine your friend from beta telling you ‘Queen’s Conservatory looks like it will be so cool! It is like the Tillers, sort of… but I think it might be better once you upgrade it. You will love it!!’

I got trolled.

I have to do the Murloc trade game over all the zones for a total of 12 times just to unlock being able to use my event for the week!
Not including having to get 20 herbs and a jewel crafted necklace!

Did I also happen to mention 120 unlocks for food, entertainment, and guests that all have zone spanning quest chains?

It’s only really going to be worth anything once you fully upgrade it. Hopefully they start adding in ways to get more anima at a faster rate, because a few hundred a day is just not going to cut it.

150,000 anima as part of the unlock for flying.

Is that for Ember Court? That sucks. :expressionless: I’m not saying that the other covenants are any better. I was also told that the Kyrian one was like Brawler’s Guild. Uh no… it is a vehicle quest on steroids. Another trollin’, ha.

I was told Ember Court is ‘so much like the Sims!’. I haven’t gotten around to rolling Venthyr yet (although I really want to) but yeah, I trust nothing at this point. I think all of the covenant side things are going to be like this.

Anima aint the bottleneck, its the souls.

We kyrians have some kind of arena and also a thing that lets you divert anima to a location on the map. Both seem pointless from what little experimentation I’ve done with them. But I guess they have to be pointless, or it would be another thing that people have to analyze and compare with other covenants’ perks.

This is the part that gets me, while still at a sub 160 i-lvl. I’d expect it if in M+ or raid gear, but the highest i-lvl items on my main are just story-line gear.

I never expect much from the table, but I’d figure at this point in my early progression the table gear would have some small value.

They are another intentional bottleneck for sure, though it’s somewhat alleviated by the renown from last week (if you did it every week, that is). Just can’t seem to find any good way to actually farm anima, though. M+ gives a measly 35 for such a hassle, table gives about that as well, WQs give maybe a couple hundred.

Yeah Ember Court. It’s a troll for the grey items lol. Conserve atleast give trade goods right?

Ember court is all rolls for cosmetics, which i guess us thematic but yeah…
