LEGENDARY BUG! Fyrakk Bad Luck Protection Not Working As Intended

After +16 weeks of Heroic Fyrakk kills, the legendary quest item has not dropped. I have reported this bug several times through the in-game support channels only to receive automated responses and/or links to the bad-luck-protection article.

I am posting here with the hopes of getting some support traction. Killing a boss repeatedly for four months, with a known threshold on bad luck protection, is beginning to feel a bit unfair. The guaranteed drop after 14 kills is widely known and was even provided to me from one GM supporting my ticket.

I would love to know if this is happening to other players and whether @Blizzard intends to address the issue. Ending the expansion this way is rough and it really shows the true nature of in-game support if this goes unnoticed. If this has happened to you, comment here.

Thanks
Schöner

Is there BLP for the legendary?

Yes, every kill you get an item that is supposed to increase your chance of getting it the following week, and is supposed to stack.

Per the text provided they have no idea whether the values they discovered were the actual drop chance or the relative increase in drop chance. Given it clearly isn’t a 100% chance, it’s reasonably safe to say that either there’s a cap on the chance or it’s a multiplier - if not both.

In any case, dataminers being wrong isn’t considered to be a bug.

If you want “traction” you’d fare better on the Dungeons, Raids and Scenarios gameplay forum. That way you’d also be reaching the actual devs who have design authority.
