Inside AQ40, the legendary mount channels to dismount while the rare mounts such as green qiraji resonating crystal all dismount instantly. I think the legendary should have the same behavior, especially if it is legendary or else it is inferior to the rare one! I think the bug only occurs in AQ40 because in the outdoor world the black qiraji resonating crystal dismounts instantly. Thanks!

So? It doesn’t mean you don’t have it that it shouldn’t get fixed. When you dismount it writes:
“Summon Qiraji Black Battle Tank” as a channel… It shouldn’t dismount in 5 seconds, it should instantly. Dismissing it isn’t a summon spell!
If you click the icon in the buff while being mounted it dismisses instantly. The issue occurs only when you put the mount in a bar and assign it to a hotkey, Usually a mount would channel mount and dismount instantly. Here just in AQ40 when you press keybind it channels to dismount.
Does putting /cancelaura Summon Black Qiraji Battle Tank on your bar work?
I’m just gonna be honest I do remember it channeling to cancel in classic, I remember the one guy on our server who had it complaining all the time about it as if he wasn’t already special.
But we all know how memory works.
Abnoka glad to hear I’m not the only one noticing. It’s 100% a coding error tied to instance terrain and keybind. Because it does dismount instantly outdoor and if you cancelaura for the mount indoor. It just doesn’t respond to keybind as it should.
Devs while you look at this how about you look at mount special cuz it doesn’t do anything either. Thanks
Using a macro of the following…
/cast Black Qiraji Resonating Crystal
/dismount
Will allow for normal functionality of the scarab mount, i.e. you click the macro while moving, and it will properly dismount you.
