The spec specific legendaries no longer work with other specs.
So no earth shield legendary for the DPS specs.

I’m shocked more people aren’t talking about this. Definitely changes plans for anyone who’s primarily a pvper regarding leggo acquisition.

What were you looking at then? Are you sure it isn’t referring to the loot specs that the actual legendary effect “items” would drop for?
Maybe. Maybe they are just saying the loot spec is required for it to drop.

another reason to dislike that, they really need an “any” selection. but if that’s the case, good to be aware.
EDIT: having an “any” selection doesn’t somehow magically delete the other three. it just adds an option.
It makes sense though. The Torghast-related ones for example - I don’t want a pure resto legendary dropping for me when I’m going for the Ele/Enh one.
The torghast and raid ones drop off specific bosses/wings. So you will probably get whichever is dropped by that boss/wing
True as that may be- point being, spec-specific legendary items or spec-specific items in general (weapon types, etc.) dropping for said spec is not a new concept.
Perhaps it applies to the Resto-only part of the affix, which is Healing Wave adding a charge to ES.
