Remember this gem? Posted the night before Blizzcon 2017.
These are still good for some entertainment now and again.
On Tragdor’s tombstone there is an epithet from Dr. Egon Spengler
“Try to imagine all life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light.”
Never say never.
I’m also pretty sure Diablo Immortal will come to PC after they said they wouldn’t. They’ll do it if they want to save a shred of their reputation.
Uhh, i don’t think they would have announced diablo immortal in the way they did if they had a shred of their reputation left
RIP Diablo
Based on the dates/postings on the thread it looks like he actually posted it the date classic was announced lol so even better
Then everyone else did it.
Thats rather funny. cant really blame them though. As blizzard had said many times no
One thing I have learned about MMOs over the past 15 years is to never say never.
That was a funny read. The salt must have been surreal.
And some had the audacity to say “Hey! You got your Classic servers but you don’t have to be jerks about it.”
The real irony of this thread is Classic servers do NOT exist YET. Don’t gloat until you are playing on them.
They’ll NEVER get class balancing right. >.>
Haha, I stand corrected!
Felt like the holidays came early with that announcement. Biggest grin on my face that day after reading that thread earlier.
I don’t think it’ll hit irony stage unless the project is cancelled.
Pretty naive post when you consider that pretty much every movie/tv show is a remake or rehash of something from the 90’s. Think about how crazy it is that after all these years they have to re release wow because they’re too useless to make a decent expansion or a new game that doesn’t suck. What the he’ll happened?
That is an epic read right there!
The best part is how the OP stopped posting for good on that character shortly after he got rekt.
This is why it’s not a bad idea to avoid saying never when possible =P
Since even if, at that time, there was very little evidence to support the idea that Blizzard would do legacy servers it clearly worked out that they were planning it.
