To be specific, I am NOT asking for old dungeons to be introduced into the current expansion mythic plus pool.
What I am hoping for is the possibility of doing Legion and BfA dungeons in mythic plus mode, but they are like old raids - a museum version. Hopefully, this would come with the weekly chest rewards appropriate for that expansion. Additionally, I have a few characters capped at 50 that are part of communities do the BfA raids (like Bop-Velen) and would like to experience BfA mythic plus on them again. In my mind, this is not something that would count to RIO or anything.

Main issue as with "Legacy anything’ is the fact the core game mechanics are very different now than then, number scaling doesn’t fix that. I don’t really see the harm in it but it still wouldn’t be the same as it was then, but there’s also the question of how much of a demand there would be for it.

I feel that. I remember in the pre-patch when the third Temple of Sethraliss boss was super deadly at level 28 while other dungeons were being done at 34 
I’m willing to accept those shenanigans!
As for demand, I don’t imagine that there would be a ton, but perhaps there would be? The friends I do the BfA raids with at 50 and some of the people who don’t buy SL might enjoy it. I will have to see people’s comments to know if anybody else would enjoy something like this.
I would not want them to have to put a lot of work into it. Mainly, I just want to be able to access the old expansion’s mythic plus things with the keystone system as it was in it’s final iteration.
I vote for cosmetic appearances we can buy with Valor.
But the real issue is tuning them. We don’t even have the same talents, abilities, etc. now.

I am okay with no/little tuning if it means this can happen! For example, have you brought a level 50 Arcane Mage to Ny’alotha now? They can blow everyone else out of the water

Honestly I think any gear in the game should be upgradeable with Valor. Maybe it would be alot of valor but take the cap off and let us build whatever sets/combos we want.

They could tie it into TW, perhaps. Instead of 5 TW heroics, you could do 5 keys of the applicable dungeon (it would be Legion only, as I don’t think BfA is in the rotation), where you only get legion keys out of it and cannot get legion keys from SL dungeons.
I think they should be live but only drop valor not gear. No contribution to the new scoring either as its past content.

I enjoy this idea. Even if they capped out the rewards say at a normal raid level so as to ensure current content give the best value.
Basically I really really liked the animation of Harlan’s Loaded dice and now I don’t have it anymore.
Actually we were doing Nya’lotha the other day.
There is some crazy shenanigans that we were already using in TW that just got better. Vision of perfection proc’ing on a Venthyr Vengeance DH activates Sinful brand on nearby targets. Felt very satisfying.
We are already able to do things like double slotted/triple slotted MoP items/BFA essence and cloak and triple slot legendary items in TW raid to get 200 item level gear. I think your suggestion would be a welcome addition especially at a time like this.

I actually would love this…mainly because there is not a single dungeon I like in SL. Didn’t like Tol Dagor either, but that was the only one from Bfa I didn’t like. All the others were awesome

I love the BfA dungeons, I think it would be really fun to keep a character at 50 who is still able to enjoy them. And it could be fun to take a group of geared 60s in just to zoom through them and time level 36 or something

I would love if they just kept old Mythic+ modes around. Let us see how far we can go through them.

People used to do this all the time. They would leave a character or two in an expansion, join twink guilds that did old heroic dungeons and raids, and do that when they needed a break.
Blizzard got rid of that. The old content may feel no different to you on a high level character, but to at-level players it is much harder. They did this intentionally to force people into new content.
