Legacy Elite PvP Sets - Earning System

Fantastic idea lol. One time Rank 1s can spend some money to get titles for their partners who got disqualified for using third party programs, kick bots, etc.

Redefining self-play to self-pay. The age of Swole is among us. Homeboy about to work so much overtime for CR he’ll pay the national debt off via taxes.

I like this system! Good ideas! Except the requirements for getting Legacy items. It should require higher rating than 1800. Getting 1800 is pretty easy if you put effort into it. These sets has to be unlocked at 2000 or even 2200. But the idea of tokens for every bracket is really good! Thanks for your opinion!

I love how people try to push off having older elites come back as if they’re doing a good thing by requesting it to increase participation.

If you wanted participation to increase, there are other fixes.

Dynamic q and mmr fixes come to mind.

I just hate when people try to say in order to save arena you need to add more rewards to the 2400+ range. Probably the most fried thing I’ve ever heard people say. People arent gonna do more PVP because the top 1% will get more rewards. People trying to pull them there George Bush Trickle Down economics on us.

Originally when soloq was talked about in legion, its was seen as a ray for people to solo, duo, 3 stacks the normal 3s bracket.

But people imo got wayyyyy to hung up about comp and voice.

Both very solvable issues. Now we just have this weird isolated extra bracket. Comp filters and a q as team option at the end of each game would of more than sufficed. LFG until 2k ish is pretty much no voice anyway.

But ya open up accessibility and let ppl q any class at max level with max gear, and i’d bet you’d have a bunch of people at least willing to try healing, as of right now no one wants to sink 50+ hours into something they might not enjoy.

They have solo q 3v3 on private servers, don’t know why blizzard just won’t add it.

solo queuing into a 3 stack just seems like a good way to get farmed

Please, explain how premade on voice can be comparable to random comp not on voice without the latter team being like several hundred mmr higher.

Because “just feed solos to premades and let them deal with it” is right up there with “delete healers and make 2v2 dps only shuffle”.

People no voice all the time to glad, let’s not act like voice is some huge advantage.

It’s not.

it kind of is

Yeah, but it’s not also random trashcan comp along with not voicing.

I wonder if you know how much your mom wishes you’d out yourself, and go get a studio apartment or something.

ya now its just weird its so fragmented and isolated

Voice and being a “premade” ( and lets be real most “premades” are also just randoms too)" is only worth a negligible amount of cr.

you put way to much value into voice. 1800 is 1800. comp really only starts to matter at 2.2k+, especially so with every class having so many tools nowadays

Plus like you can give randoms the option to use voice, you have a ‘preferred comp filters’ you can have a q as team option so when a duo or single q finds a good match they can just keep queing together. No hurdle is insurmountable.

I Love how with you about gearing its, ‘gEaRiNg mUh MmMrPg’

But when it comes to arenas and encouraging people to find groups you’re for this solo only bracket that really doesn’t help people out in 3s at all nor is a very social at all. Its just isolated in this weird awkward place.

Just such a weird double standard.

It’s usually less about what I want or care about and more about my perception of Blizzards design philosophy, or in the case of bringing back elite sets there just being negligible consequences.

Gearing being instant would be great for me, but probably not most people.

what man? so are you like blizzards opinion? did they give you a script or something?

yea they’re wrong homie, nothing they’ve done for pvp the least 6 years really has worked. Unfortunately so.

Just simply dialing up the rewards is like a temp fix at best

Yeah, we get the best gearing we’ve ever had and participation is still in ruins. :dracthyr_comfy_sip:

I mean in the case of elite sets we’re back to what I originally said where it’s the assets exist, there’s basically no downside to reimplementing them, and it gets people queuing alts.

Unlikely that they do it, but it’d almost certainly be a net benefit.

That is
by design. That is how elo systems work

The only way to increase the amount of people in high end PVP is to increase the player pool in general. The best way to do that is to incentivize casuals and new players. Your proposition does neither. This is just a way for you to get sets you missed out on while simultaneously keeping them prestigious enough that not everyone gets them. It’s fine to have this argument, but claiming the goal is to increase the amount of PVP players is simply misguided.
