Can we please have account-wide reputation applied to legacy reputations in some way?
Either make the reputations themselves account-wide, or the items on quartermaster vendors Bind on Account. Either of those would do the trick. It feels awful grinding out the same reputation on alts. Thanks.

Totally agree that quartermaster items should be BOA.

100%. Changing mains shouldn’t come with the drawback of losing all we worked for in the past.

They won’t change it… By forcing you to grind on multiple characters, they keep you playing longer through content droughts.

I hope that train of thought goes away. They have us on the monthly drip with the trading post already so that should be enough for them to draw $15 a month.

Do it! Don’t just make rewards account wide. Fill up that rep bar on the rep screen account wide.

For those of us who care about having their reps maxed out, changing main is a painful process.
Ive now swapped main so i have to do the Ogri’la and netherwing rep grinds all over again.
Its painful. So painful.
I would kill for account wide rep once you hit exalted.

Boa is an interesting idea.
I prefer rep just being faster and coming from any activity.
Rep tabards were great because i could do dungeons which i like and get rep. I dont like world content and do not want to really do it but some of the rep cosmetics are nice.
Let me play my way.
Imma be honest, many times i wanted to swap mains from paladin to something else. But I feel awful and punished for doing so because so much rep, quest progression, and unlockables has been earned through my paladin. I feel like i got banned and had to make a new account when i choose a new main. It makes me just want to quit the game and not continue playing. Please make rep account bound Blizzard.

Or, players quit. Based on current events, what’s happening?

…why not have account-wide apply to “current” reputations as well?
At least with old/legacy reputations there are some “spammable” sources of reputation, but “current” reputations have no such quick methods to max them out
Character-specific “current” reputations are especially slow to grind if you happened to not stay current on grinding them (…the Niffins cave-land is boring, for example) or if you are a new/returning player (especially)

This helps some with current Renown but not enough.
That only helps if you already happened to have a different character that had already slogged thru the grind, that doesn’t do anything for new/returning players or the boring reputations that people may not have bothered grinding (such as the Niffins-cave faction)
My issue comes into some of the old ones having a “hated” rep so how would that factor in?
If it took the highest of what you have ok but if I wind up hated on all my characters then that isn’t good…

That doesn’t make sense… even if Rep/Renown was account wide you’re still going to have to get it on one character first.
If it was account wide couldn’t you grind some levels on Character 1, than some more levels on Character 2, etc. until you’re maxed? That’s what account wide rep / renown would mean to me. All the progress is shared.

I didn’t think of that way really but it would still take the same amount of grinding pre Rep/Renown no matter how many characters. But you doo have a good point.
To me account-wide means account-wide
If character A is renown 20, then all your other characters are also already renown 20 with faction X… there is no “regrinding” at all with true account-wide
That said the way they used to do Keystone Master was nice, you used to be able to do say, 4/8 dungeons on one character at 15 or higher… and the other 4/8 dungeons on a different character, but all of it “counted” towards the achievement. I liked the way they did that. Sadly, at some point they decided to change it to character-specific
