I just wanted to get the communities take on this idea. I think that Blizzard should honor long standing account holders with some kind of recognition on top of wow’s anniversary presents each year. I mean some of us have been playing wow for years or in my case since vanilla wow came out. A pet or mount or even title would be nice. What do you all think?

Correct. Those who maintained a constant Subscription with no missed time from Release to he 10 year Anniversary received very nice statues of the Orc that is in front of Headquarters in Irvine, CA.
I have not heard of anything special for people who have stayed subbed for 20 years yet. If they did, it would likely be a surprise. Hard to do the physical gifts, esp if they don’t ask ahead to confirm shipping address is up to date on every eligible account. That ruins a surprise.
You never know though, they might do something after all. We will find out this fall.
I was so bummed. Joined in the beta, have the collector’s edition vanilla. I had to quit just before Burning Crusade because I got deployed. Resubbed when I got out 3 years later in WotLK. Been subbed ever since. No statue for me.
We have Trader’s Tenders just for logging in each month + more Tendies we can earn if active.
We have the yearly Anniversary event/pet/mount/cosmetic, whatever too starting around year 4 I think. I have steins in my bank I am sure.

I was so excited to log into my WOD camp and put up the statues. Then puzzled as all heck on why I couldn’t select it. Then remembered I did let it lapse one month due to expired CC and other timings.
This wont happen. Devs have made it painfully clear that they don’t want to deal with people whining about others having something they can’t get. See the BMAH and Traders Tender for reference. I’m surprised they haven’t overhauled the PVP mount system yet. It’s one of the only exclusive things left that “once it’s gone it’s gone”. I mean just look at all the backlash from the HS event. Ppl loosing their minds cause they might not get the pet/mount/ect … So Devs immediately triple the spawn then double it. The cryers own this game.
