Left hand option?

Hi, I would like to know about an option to play warcraft so that my character can use his left hand.

I am left handed and would like to be able to use swords and shields according to the hand I use best.

WoW characters are randomly left handed. At least two of mine are. Log into each character and /wave.

Never before have I ever known I needed this as an option until now.

Is that potentially based on racial animations? I haven’t tested this. But for the characters that wave left handed, do all characters of that same type wave the same way?

Are fury warriors right/left handed, or are they ambidextrous?

So two of your characters are dread lords.

No, most of my Night Elves are right handed, but one Rogue waves with it’s left hand. The other Rogue does not.

The only game I know of that allowed players to choose their handedness was the OG Counter Strike (not sure if the newer CS games kept that feature, never played them). I’m all for extra customization options, but for whatever reason this is something game devs rarely incorporate.

I would love this. I’m also very curious about the claim of it randomly happening to characters regarding emotes, so I’ll be checking my alts out when I can log in next :rofl:

Thank you all for your comments, I hope in the future there will be a left handed option.

Example, in the game Zelda Twilight princess for gamecube, link used the left hand, but in the Wii version they changed it to right hand.

They just used the mirror method to make the animation.

Thanks a lot for your feedback, some made me laugh like Flanders and others surprised me like the greetings of the characters.
