Hi, I’m wondering how I can change it so I can left click fishing bobber, to retrieve fish; rather than right click. Does anyone know how to set a macro to reel in fish or a way to change the button, to catch or reel in fish?
I figured something out and I’m trying find out how to catch fish by changing right click button, so I left click to catch fish or by left clicking a macro which will use right click to retrieve fish. I’d like to be able to use left click, to macro a right click use, but not actually physically press right click.
This sounds funny, but if I can figure out how to retrieve fish, using something other than right click, I should be able to fish easier.
I use the Q key for my interact-with-mouseover key.
When I am fishing, I turn the sound volume up, and put the Fishing icon on key 1.
Then each time I cast, I move the mouse over the bobber. Now I can look at my other screen (wow forums, whatever) until the fish bites. When I hear the splash, I hit Q to loot, then 1 to re-cast.
This way, I only have to look at the game each time I re-cast (to move the mouse again). I don’t have to stare at it while waiting.
I would recommend using the addon Fishing Buddy. I use it to left-click the bobber.
Has many options. You can set it to cast whenever you have a fishing rod equipped by double-clicking water. Auto Loot. Highlight pools. Increase sound when a rod is equipped. Call specific pets. automatically apply lures/buffs. Cast while mounted. Etc. etc.
Just type /fb when it’s installed, to set options.
