I’m not sure if anyone has any insight, but I ran molten core two days ago and the right half of the bindings of the windseeker dropped from Garr for me after literally forever, I quickly ran to silithus picked up the quest from Demitirian and spent an all nighter farming mats for the 10 enchanted elementium bars, when i got the quest, I also went back and killed ragnaros for the essence of firelord. My question is does anyone know if the drop on the left binding from Baron Geddon is increased when you have the quest? Afterall, it knew I had the quest to drop the essence of firelord from rag… I was hoping I could go after lockout tuesday and claim my last piece…That maybe wishful thinking though…Any feedback appreciated bro bros

I doubt that the bindings of such an important legendary is going to increase in drop rate just because the quest is in your log, it’s just a matter of being lucky enough to get it to drop, some people get both in one run, others it may take fourty runs.

Omg…kill me then haha I played vanilla wow but never got one but I played a paladin so I wasn’t too bothered by it, I wanted the Ragnoros hammer more which I seen drop once but never got neither…
(thinks of the best way to describe this):
“The Bindings have a 1% drop rate.”
See what I did there? They have a 1% drop rate. period.
It is not: “They have a 1% drop rate, unless you did this; or have this in your bags; or are a higher level; or have killed Ragnaros on a Saturday…”
NOTHING ELSE affects the drop rate. You kill the boss, the game does a dice-roll, and if you hit the magic number, you get the item. NOTHING ELSE is considered.

No. Ive had the left binding since tbc prepatch in 2007, on the quest with completed rag kill and have run many hundreds of times and never seen the right binding.

50% drop chance.
It either drops or it doesnt - this is what keeps me going after all these years.

It’s wrong. But if it keeps you going, especially in the face of such terrible luck, then by all means keep at it!

Yeah my guild swapped from dead server horde to frostmourne alliance in antoras so we could recruit.
I miss being an orc and moreimportantly i lost my laughing skull mask transmog.

Me too, haha I spent like 24 hours straight farming arcane crystals and thorium for the arcanite bars to make the 10 elementium bars and had to go to blackrock depths to get to 300 mining to make them haha…lot of work and caffeine to just wait another 5 years lol…dont know what i was thinking
I had ther mats multiple times over the years and sold them when prices were just right.
I can craft the bars from og mining skill and have alchy toons for transmutes.
This threat has motivated me to go try once more.

It took me just over 2200 kills to get Galleon.
I’m at just under 2200 kill to get Nalak (still don’t have it).
I did Throne of the Four Winds last week… hadn’t done it in ages I just got bored farming it… and the mount dropped!!!
If you don’t at least TRY … it will never drop.
