Left and Right mouse buttons stop working randomly

Im getting the same thing with the middle of the screen being unresponsive. Using guild wars 2 UI, and no discord - still happens. Also happens even after reloading.

I have this issue all the time. When pvping I can’t right click below my character to turn. When doing the shell game it’s almost impossible to left click the 2 bottom middle shells. I used a command /framstack in game and it shows some sort of anchor exactly where I can’t left/right click anything. Is there a way to move this anchor or make it non interactive so I can use this part of the screen again to play?

A simple /reload in game makes it go away temporarily. But I would prefer to have a permanent fix rather than realizing it in the middle of an arena game where it causes me to make a mistake.

Has anyone found a solution to this? It’s making the game nearly unplayable

I too am getting the issue of the game not recognizing clicks (right or left) for several seconds, seemingly at random. Happens a lot in battlegrounds, but also out in the open world. Thought it was something with my mouse, but I see it’s not. Started with 8.1.5. Also happening since patch is that my pets won’t stay dismissed, and every time I log in I learn a new spell, which it places in a gap in my action bar. Very annoying.

Dont know if this works for people, but i got moveanything addon and it legit stopped all my issues. Must of been some hidden window causing it. The right click and try to move my mouse across the screen issue was gone and havent had an issue with it. Seems to fix it, havent had the issue in a long time and just today i turned the addon off and everything was not working. I was extremely confused but thought hmm what changes, after turning it on I havent had the issues so maybe try it out!

Having problem randomly with left and right click my logitech mk120. works like a charm for a minute and the other it stops. really frustating in instance when you cannot complete the quest because you cannot choose your reward.
ReloadUI fix randomly the problem. Removing addons does nothing more. Reinstalled doesn’t fix the issue either.
Please Blizzard do something!!

Im having this issue on classic wow now mouse clicks randomly stop working for a couple seconds mainly near center of screen. I have a logitech g502 , quiet a few addons and discord running i alt tab alot… so no idea where to start its annoying as hell and gamebreaking

I have a problem with my keyboard instead, my wasd is not working properly since it patched. For instance then I press W to move forward, it looks like I’m pressing the button intermittently, and the character looks like its having a seizure instead of running. This changes if I press spacebar and it jumps or if I change the direction while I still press W at the same time, and it then runs smoothly as before. It’s not a major problem but quite annoying.
I restarted my computer, cleaned my keyboard, tried another one, and its the same.

this is still an issue

Have tried disabling hardware acceleration, as well as elvui loot frame. Doesn’t solve it.

Seems Bliz has been ignoring/covering up this issue for over 6 years: https://eu.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/7390609786

this is still happening to me. I been gone since june, and did a full reinstall. I do not use elvUI (unless spartanUI is based on it )

at least yesterday’s incident happened during a boss fight in Nazjatar instead of a wpvp combat

only way to fix temporarily is to log out and back in,.

I have had this problem for idk how long now and I have a solution that’s worked for two days running now. I wanted to share what I tried and what finally worked for me. I hope this helps.

Things that didn’t work:

/console rawMouseEnable 0 or 1.
This worked the first time I tried it for about an hour then for some reason just failed again.

Trying to uninstall all my add ons.

Scanning and repairing WoW and Vanilla.

Uninstalling and reinstalling WoW.

Updating Firmware on my mouse.

Adjusting the DPI to 125 in my Mouse’s settings.

Making sure I have no overlays or even any other programs running.

Turning off browser acceleration in the BNET app.

Going through Task Manager to make sure there wasn’t some weird hardware acceleration process that was helping with camera angle improvements in games (what…) that I read about on here.

None of this worked for me. I spent hours. I nearly quit.
It doesn’t matter but fwiw I have a Razr mouse with 16 buttons or something. All brands suffer from this.

WHAT ACTUALLY WORKED:
so far. i dont want to jinx this. but it works atm. if it fails im probably quitting.

I set the Display Mode to Windowed in System. This cut the problem in half. I don’t know if it’s necessary but I’m not changing a damn thing rn because it’s working.

Most importantly: I set all the Graphics to “Classic” levels and I’m not optimizing my graphics in GeForce whatchamacallit. If I was subjecting myself to BFA I’d just click “recommended” I guess. I can raid in BFA on ultra and still have 40 fps. Turn it down a bit and I can get over 100 FPS outside of raids no problem. But for some reason turning up the graphics settings in WoW seems to cause my mouse to stop working. I haven’t seen this fix from anyone so I wanted to share.

Turning off the Discord overlay as suggested above fixed it for me. Really annoying issue.

This relay worked for me wow ty!! ive had this issue for years.
