Leeway has no place in classic

It was a feature to counter dialup connections, server tech limitations and potato PCs. It has no place in classic. It should be removed or at least halved. Tooltips say the range of an ability, but this goes out of the window when moving.

leeway is fine. ranged abilities would be really annoying without some leeway, imo :expressionless:

Yeah, charging from 35y when the tooltip states 25 is amazing.

So your suggestion is to backpedal away from a warrior thats running directly at you? So what he can just charge you anyway? Have you ever kited on a hunter?

They did, but then after classic went to TBC they got rid of spell batching. Kept leeway though.

Lol Leeway is a must for a smooth game that involves constant movement.

The leeway is tuned for dial-up connections with far slower server ticks. It needs tuning.

Love everytime I pull up the forums I see Goonunit running PR for current condition of hunters and trying to get leeway removed to make it even more one sided. Man gaslighting an entire community off payroll.

Not all heroes wear capes, but I do.

It’s just a silly relic of the technology limitations of the time. They’ve removed spell batching but left leeway? Typical melee bias.

Don’t need to remove it, just tone it down. It’s a crappy hidden mechanic.

And yes I’m extremely over getting charged from my max range when I should still have 5-10y to play with.

As soon as you’re in range to concussive shot, they can charge. That’s kind of my point. Even when specced 41y range it still very much feels like warriors can basically charge as soon as you’re in range. Even though you should have 16y before they are in range.
