"Leaving wow for Fallout 76"

I remember some people saying this in the past, and for those who did I wanted to ask I haven’t played Fallout 76 but how is it? Compared to WoW?

Completely different game. Like asking how Tetris is compared to WoW. Also Fallout 76 is unfinished with no end game.

Edit: If you can get it cheep I guess it was fun for a couple weeks before you get to the point where there is nothing to do except endlessly farm Whitesprings blast zone for a non-sucky weapon.

What a bunch or lies, or at least ignorant statements. F76 is nothing remotely like WoW except that they are both in the MMO genre.

Here you go

dont gameshame >:( them

Oh come on! that’s not all you can do, you can also explore the dev room for epic loot

I’m sorry, I was just curious :frowning:

Fallout76 is like playing a multiplayer version of Fallout 4, except there is less to do. Once you hit max level, you literally have nothing to do … except maybe farm for weapons and/or mats to build your camp up (which even this has its limitations.)

WoW has a lot more options in the way of content; however, it’s lacking in replay-ability. Or, the vast majority of the player base are suffering from burnout … as I’ve seen several individuals claim they’re having a blast.

In the end, it’s all up for debate as to the comparison of which is technically “better.”

Oh, I believe you Champ. It’s just the sheer ignorance of others saying that F76 is remotely comparable to WoW I don’t believe. Well, I mean that I do believe it; there are a lot of ignorant folks out there in the world.

I just… don’t want to believe it.

Is this a thinly veiled “other game bad, WoW good” thread?

Compared to WoW?.. oof… umm how should i put this charitably?

Fallout 76 makes WoW look competently put together, content rich, and polished in comparison.

It’s low hanging fruit, but when were talking about Fallout 76, the fruit can’t get no lower then bedrock.

Yeah, I did not make THAT mistake.

I remember them both coming out, for the Xbox one, so I bought Red Dead Redemption 2. I’ve been having fun in that, in both single player and with my online character.

I’m more careful these days, really reading up about games before buying them. Though I really liked fallout 4, “76” sounded pretty lame to me.

I didn’t say that! :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m genuinely curious, where did their posts go?

Fallout 76 is nothing like playing a multiplayer version of Fallout 4. It’s more like playing a multiplayer version of Fallout 3 or NV, two games whose game worlds are grossly inferior to 4’s.

When BfA is so bad that people have to use Fallout 76 to make it look good…

Obvious bait.

Fallout 76 was a good game for a coop exploratory fallout world. The questlines, leveling, perks, and gunplay were all terrible though. The only thing that held the game up was the worldbuilding, and even that sucked since there were no people in it, only players, who don’t exactly act like human beings.

It pretty much had all the problems of Fallout 4, but worse because of the lack of NPCs and clear pay to win practices they were working towards if they could get a sizable chunk of players.

So, kinda like wow then…
