I am not here to whine. I am here to let Blizzard know why some people stop playing, in hopes that they fix the problem.
I am absolutely tired of spending 30 minutes looking for a M+ group, get in 20, 30, 40, 50, 90% done and someone leaves. This ruins the game for the other 4 players every time. This also goes for all other group content as well. I saw it in Rated PVP and one of the reasons I stopped raiding was the constant need to refill slots every few minutes of a raid. Unless you have a dedicated group of friends to play with or a very very dedicated guild, the group content in WoW is pretty much dead to me.
There is definitely a good way to implement some sort of system where you can report players, not to ban them, but to flag their account (not just that character, but their entire account so that they cannot hide on an alt) so everyone can see that they constantly leave premade groups (not just me and my personal black list)… this is ridiculous.
I have identified the problem. That entire scheme is a dumpster fire and I gathered that just reading the forums. You couldn’t pay me to do even a zero, which should be really easy except then you have to play with people who play M+, basically.
I think your best bet is to unsub and explore something else. I don’t think this is going to be changing anytime soon, and I’m not trying to be shady or offensive, I just think it’s the best choice you can make right now so that you don’t keep doing something you don’t enjoy.
Ive waited an hr trying to pug a +15 before, i just gave up and went to do something else. It reminded me of vanilla wow, spamming chat for 2 hrs trying to get a group for a dungeon. I dont like that feeling, id rather just que up like random dungeons if i pug mythic keys.
I never have and never will. Unlike the anti LFR crowd while I do think M+ was one of the worst things ever added I’m not saying it should be removed because I know a lot of people enjoy it.
