Leaving Mythic plus against ToS or not?

Hey Blizzard…
Since you’ve added restrictions to solo shuffle and created a more punishing result for people that leave. “Players who leave excessively will be subject to account review and suspensions, as abandoning matches repeatedly is a violation of the terms of service via exploiting functionality to the detriment of the game environment and the intended player experience.”
What about adding a rating system for players that abuse leaving M+ after trash % is complete, and leaves mid pull on the last boss…?

Thoughts? I can confidently say it is detriment to the game environment and intended player experience, as I (along with others) have experienced this already…since m+ inception.

No it’s not against terms of service.

Can you reference, and indicate how it isn’t? I am failing to see the difference between queueing for a solo shuffle, playing 5 matches, then leaving. Or queueing for a m+ then leaving on the last boss…

Perhaps if you approach the topic with a different headline you’d it would be more constructive. TBH, the solo shuffle example is fair. Just needs a better dialog to sort out how to handle the M+ issue.

99% sure it’s not against ToS to leave M+

Solo shuffle is content you are randomly assigned people of similar level and needs all rounds to make a fair assessment.

M+ is player made group PvE content. Very big difference.

I feel like the two aren’t equal circumstances… It’s a lot easier for a malding tank to hold a group hostage in M+ than in PvP.

nah it ain’t queueable content bro

u pick the super blasters for ur group

But you are actively queueing for a M+, you are choosing to queue it. Can anyone actually show me how leaving a group willing is not against ToS? I’m using solo shuffle as an example because of the “Players who leave excessively will be subject to account review and suspensions, as abandoning matches repeatedly is a violation of the terms of service via exploiting functionality to the detriment of the game environment and the intended player experience.” They themselves quote.

so are people doing 30% of the dps they should be doing.
so are people who don’t kick or stun anything ever.
so are people who run away from you while you try to clear thundering.
so are people who don’t know any boss mechanics.
and so on.

are you suggesting those people are also violating ToS and should have action taken against their accounts?

You get that in solo shuffle too, so what’s the difference?

idk why u keep ignoring the fact that you pick people for the group

prob not convenient to talk about for u tho

I’m not ignoring that fact, I understand that. I am asking about ToS though…

the answer is no that’s all u need

continue on

play better and people will stop leaving your groups :person_shrugging:

I don’t need to queue tbh people just need a tank so often.

I don’t think you’ve addressed my last comment either. SS requires a full completion to make an assessment.

Mythic + are player made groups and if someone doesn’t meet the expectation they come off as you’re free to leave at anytime.

There’s a support article that says the group leader (or the group as a whole via voting for LFD/LFR) is allowed to remove anyone from the party for any reason.

“pls prove a negative. pls point to the specific line in the terms of service where it says you’re allowed to do X”

Its not but there’s no benefit to it either unless the key is hopeless as you still get vault credit and a bunch of io.

 is this allowed in the tos
