Leaving M+

Was just on pace to 2 chest an AA, first 2 bosses down going smoothly. We wiped on trash (my fault). Still on pace to 2 chest. Healer leaves? We need some sort of punishment for people leaving keys, this has been a serious problem so far in Dragonflight. People are just leaving timeable keys after on wipe on trash halfway through the dungeon.

Whew thanks for posting. It had been 9 mins since the last thread exactly about this and every other 9 minutes for the last 6 freaking years.

M+ isn’t content friendly with a pug scene, it’s better to have your own group. Also, I see a lot of post about “punishment” but there’s X amount of reasons why someone left a key.

I’d rather have some updates to the depletion mechanic or just remove it, because a lot of the complaints came from players that feel punished because someone else left their key and now the punishment is for them.

We have one: and it’s called not inviting those people back. If you’re going to do pugs then you must expect the possibility of people leaving your keys.

then that’s a sign something needs to change and some customers demands are there for people to make business on if any game content developers want in on the money

I left mythic+ at the end of Legion. Never regretted it.

No thanks, and no it hasn’t been.

I think the only loss would be time wasted making a group since it takes so long now, almost feels like end of season lol

perhaps you can propose a solution in the next 9 minutes?

Why don’t they have a rating system like PvP ? Like if toue doing 15s regularly you get the loot and your rating goes up to say 2k and if don’t make timer it goes down? And if someone bails they lose like 100 points. That’ll keep people to the end. I don’t see many people bailing in pvp …cept shuffle but that’s a donkey kong show

I run 90% of my keys with guildies, they never leave. Hark! A solution!

Edit: Only took me 2 minutes. Speedrunner.

That will reduce participation. There’s no way to keep people in a doomed run.

There is no real short term solution. When you invite randoms you get the inherent unreliability that unknown people bring. There is no metric that can show their tolerance of failure or whether they’re likely to DC, etc.

The long term solution is to make friends who won’t flake when a pull goes sideways.

Because M+ isn’t PvP. The environment doesn’t scale with rating. Higher PvP rating means tougher opponents. A +2 doesn’t become any more difficult at 2500 rating.

Sounds like pve is a hot mess and that’s wows bread maker …. Time for new leadership

How did you get that out of what I said? What game have you ever played where enemy computer controlled mobs scaled in difficulty with some assigned rating? Lmao, that would be a dead flop, I think.

Anyone notice a trend here? People only leave after…

  • A wipe on something trivial (like trash)
  • Several wipes on same boss.
  • verbal abuse
  • Over time

Almost like if you were a kind person and, didn’t wipe, and were still under time you wouldn’t have these issues.

Meh, i pug 95% of my keys and most go without problems.

People need to stop making a huge deal out of occasional bad experiences. They’re unavoidable when dealing with other human beings.
