Never been to a Naxx gdkp. I have my Ashbringer and full tier 3 set from farming shoulder enchants and phylacteries with my guild for BT.
The instance is in the game now, and everyone knows they are being removed, get a run together and secure it before then.

Remove RMT and perma ban anyone doing it.

Remove Naxx 60 from the game as intended. Everyone knew this would happen and has had ample time to run it.

Naxx GDKPS pay less than doing dailies, but if people want to do it there is nothing wrong with that.

This is it right here. This is really all we want. To mess around in Naxx40 @ level 80, knock out some tier 3 sets on alts, maybe piece an Atiesh together for some funsies, knock out some quests that get cut out, make a little bit of gold. Soloing old raids was, for me at least, a great way to unwind after a night of actual progression raiding in WotLK. And while I am very clearly biased as I am obviously in favor of the proposed change, I truly fail to see how such a change harms anyone. It’s why I also support rated BGs even though I never got to experience them. They harm no one.

A bad decision made by Blizzard and noted throughout the years. Removing content of any sort is never a good idea.
Hopefully this time around they’ll reverse course. It would be fun to go to 40man Naxx with a DK or just classes in general with WotLK talents.
And for anyone whose been paying for runs from it now for transmog later, heads up Classic won’t make it that far.

I raided naxx 40 for 6 months and was ashbringer prio and we never saw one. Mankrik had one go for 200k gold in a gdkp. They need to just leave naxx 40 in EPL so whoever spent $3k + US on RMT gold to feel stupid. Hell, I feel stupid having paid for a sub since classic launched.

Thats the forums nowadays. People think everyone buys gold who disagrees with their statement of things that did not happen in the past but want it changed for their personal gain because of being lazy.

That was my GM, and he does a LOT of Strat farming. LOL
Too many replies that are against this offer one of two solutions:
- Make a new character on a different game that will still have Naxxramas in it.
- Server transfer somewhere that there are enough players willing to run Naxxramas before it’s removed.
Neither of these are good solutions, leave Naxx-40 in!

Finally got Corrupted Ashbringer to drop for the first time since Naxxramas came out in Classic. So now I’ve changed my mind and I never want to organize a Naxx raid again.
So you’re gatekeeping content that’s already been gatekeeped 14 years ago… Right. Someone else said earlier in regards to SoM/CE; we are adults with many other obligations. It’s slightly unfair to ask us to play three separate versions of a game just to experience content.

Point 3 & point 5 here just make you sound like a monumental pos. Thanks for your input; good to know we can all disregard anything you have to say. Leaving Naxx 40 in the game hurts absolutely no one - aside from narcissistic gatekeeping rats who find it amusing to belittle and gaslight others (this is you).
Classic Era exists for this
Classic Era has 16 people across 3 realms, Wickage. If I wanted to go run Naxx 40 like they do on CE realms I would just load up a sandbox emulator and .die everything; the loot means just as much there as it does on CE.

As someone who has been collecting every item from naxx since it was dropped in classic’s iteration I think I can atleast come from a place of there is nothing item wise I want left out of naxx. I have all 4 staves - 4 CAs - all 81 pieces of t3 and every possible drop from naxx spread across 9 60s I made using 58 boosts.
There is nothing left for me to get out of naxx. Atleast their shouldn’t be and yet I still run it. I still find myself wanting to run naxx because it’s fun. It was fun back in classic on my alliance paladin and its still fun on faerlina playing with 70s. It will still be fun playing with 80s.
I’m not the only naxx collector I know of one other person who nearly has all 4 staves. Neither of us want to be the only people who will be able to obtain all 4. The staff and the CA are huge pieces of lore that shouldn’t be removed and slowly over time vanish from the game as people quit.
If someone from classic era would like to comment my response has always been the same. You’re playing a different game - this change doesn’t effect you and your opinions on a game you haven’t played and never will play is irrelevant.
