So, I picked up the skinning weekly, but my LW trainer doesn’t have one to pickup. My LW is at 60, skinning is 100.
What am I missing?

Profession quests seem buggy right now. I got one for blacksmithing but not for enchanting.

I was just going to make a thread asking about this. Could only pick up the weekly mining quest.

Non-gathering professions have their KP rewards coming from the patron work orders onthe crafting table (in addition the rewards individual orders give, there’s also a weekly work order quest inside the artisan’s HQ building just up from the LW table)
(Enchanters are an exception: they appear to get a quota of KP from disenchanting like it was a gathering profession)

Were we supposed to get an NPC work order this week? I’m a LW and I didn’t get one.
As far as I know there is no quest from the trainer - the patron work orders are our source of KP rewards.
(My patron work orders didn’t populate until yesterday evening, and based on the durations, it looks like they will be coming in blocks every 3-4 days?)

shrug. In my eyes, this is far, far better system - makes crafting feel like the focus.
(It will itch at times when an order is posted that is out of reach because of not having the recipe or skill needed - there are some very interesting cost-benefit tradeoffs being set up that I can see some people not enjoying, even though I think I will)
Where do you even find these patron work orders? I’ve seen nothing so far.
Work order table, work orders, there is now a “patron” tab.
They weren’t immediately available for me after the servers came up yesterday, but there were 10 orders showing in the evening. They appear to be a random mix of easy/expensive/impossible so there will be decisions to be made. Many will require providing mats and at this early stage, large amount of concentration. They reward a small amount of gold, but also a goodie bag, some acuity and some KP.
