Im thinking about professions for my alt. I have tailor and skinning on my main. I was wondering would leatherworking be worth it just for access to the cured hides even if i have no use for the armors myself?
Not really. Cured Rugged Hides aren’t really in-demand until Naxxramas, and even then, you can only make one every 4 days. Hypothetically, if you get a Leatherworking alt to the needed skill to make Cured Rugged Hides now and judiciously make a Cured Rugged Hide every 4 days, you can have a nice nest egg of sellable hides when Naxxramas is unlocked.
My Priest alt is a Leatherworker/Alchemist for just this reason, sorta. But also so one alt can process all the skins generated from other alts.
Thanks yeah was considering it for the cured hides and turning skins into other ones. Thanks for your input was considering LW, alch or maybe engineering but unsure how i will like shadow pvp yet so not wanting to jump into engineering yet.
