Can you give me more on how mail makes sense for monks? I’ve always associated monk theme roles as lighter armor types. I wanna be with you on this but need a little more

Mail doesn’t really make sense for monks. If anything cloth might make more sense. But I like leather. :frowning:

and get back heal when we run

Mail makes even less sense than leather. And leather doesn’t even make sense to begin with. Leather is too restricting in movement for what a monk would want to be doing, in all reality monks should be wearing cloth, but since blizzard doesn’t want to put agility on cloth items we got stuck with the same gear as rogue.

This is one of the worst takes I’ve seen in a while. An extremely mobile, agile and flexible fighting style like a Monk’s would be totally crushed by wearing heavier and less flexible mail armor.

More so since some of the leather sets can look rather cloth looking (most don’t but there are a few). For instance the Mist Dancer set for leather which was the monk one from WoD looks alot like cloth armor instead of leather.

I was going to say this. The monk archetype is usually associated with wearing robes or loose-fitting cloth tunics and pants.

No thanks.

Nah fam.

Besides the next two classes, Bard and Tinkerer are both gunna be mail wearers.

One of the 2 classes specs will likely use ranged weps as well.

We making up classes now?

No, monks should.be cloth wearers.
