What does the advanced preview do that the normal one doesn’t?
You can have it show a quick preview on tooltip. But also on the full preview, you can switch gender, race, sheath weapon or not.
Oh wow. Downloading that tonight. do I need the Wowhead as on as well or does mog it standalone?
It stands alone, the other addons will just make it easier to sort through as there’s a lot of transmog pieces out there.

Mogit is standalone, but then it just shows all separates. Mogit_wardrobe or Mogit_wowhead adds a section where it shows all sets like the greens.
I also use another addon that lets you see which items drop from which instances and from which bosses.

I doubt it would be a problem for my computer, but these mods aren’t performance heavy right?
They load up when accessed. 
There’s a setting on the wardrobe one to have it preload, but thats actually broken so you gotta click the ‘refresh items’ whenever you want to use it, it takes a few seconds to compile the list then.

I doubt I stand out as not looking like every other demon hunter, however my current mog has one of my absolute favorite transmog shoulders for leather (Felflame Inferno Shoulderpads). They’re the BoE monk set lookalikes from Antorus raid. The red ones on my character are the mythic ones. They have three other colors: gold, green, and purple. (Purple is the LFR color. Gold and green come from normal and heroic, but I can’t remember which is from which.)
Additionally, the pants I have as part of this mog (Leggings of the Sable Stalkers) are also favorites because I love the pouches (hard to see in the armory pic) belted to the legs and the fringe under the knee. Like the shoulders, those also come in four different colors and are BoE drops from the Antorus raid. The only trouble with them is a lot of boots will clip the fringe under the knee.
I find a lot of the leather sets I like from previous expansions are rogue-only or have key pieces which are rogue only, so I’ll be watching this thread closely for things I’ve missed.

BWL from Vanilla is awesome especially for the Rogue set.
Has fancy looking weapons too

i found “AllTheThings” to be much more useful in populating my appearance tab than Mogit.
