Learning Dive 3 - Hunter

Can someone tell me if learning Dive 3 is possible right now in SOD. The lvl 50 owls in Felwood have the skill, however I have been killing with one for 3 hours now and cant learn the skill. I have even abandoned the owl and got a new one 3 times now.

Killing isn’t the key to learning it, I think every chance you use it, you have a chance to learn it. I think.

yes, I understand but most skills are learned within the 1st-5th time its used. It has been hours of use.

Its rng on learning it.

I had to use howl wolf iver 30 times to learn it.

Didnt pay attention to what rank it was. But i just wanted a howl for aggro tag. Then i got a near max level wolf after that.

I hear ya, its just been about 200 times for me, so it makes me wonder if it is possible or a SOD bug. I dont want to do this for another 3 hours if its not possible.

Every hunter goes through this and then they google ‘is it possible to learn dash/dive/prowl’, it is hunter tradition. It seriously must have taken me at least an hour or longer

I learned it right after my last post so all is good now. It took 3.5 hours. My last dash took 4 pulls and my last prowl happened as soon as the cat used it before I even pulled the 1st mob. Truly a very random RNG. Thanks all.

I have it learned on my hunter. Just spam the spell over and over again until you learn it. You dont need to be in combat to do it.

Just keep spamming the ability, and double check your spell book you may already have it.

Just spec BM tree and get into combat with a low level NPC with spirit bond running and spam the ability if you’re struggling still

Prowl took me a very long time as well
