Any tips/tricks/whatnot…? I’ve always played affi so i’m trying to get good at destro now… Wondering if any of you have any advice or resources i can learn from… 2.3k xp as affliction.
havoc coil, use CDs. Fear off coil. Profit.
Remember to move your portal throughout the match as the fight moves around the arena. & Keep in mind where your portal is as you move yourself.
Also remember to advocate for a better Incinerate Animation, while requesting shadowfury be returned to being destro only.

Usage of your mobility spells is paramount to winning. Use too many at the wrong time and you’re going to eat it and die when they reconnect. It’s pretty unforgiving at the moment. Best thing is to learn to kite and learn to bait bolt stops with other spells as best you can. The spec isn’t bad, but in this current meta it is far from what it used to be.

Respect the enemy cd with a lot of kiting/cc, you can use gate to get out of bad root stuff like warrior spear.
you can abuse your spell school to bait kick so you can free cast like getting kick on fear so you can chaos bolt.
You can dish out 2 bolt for big damage every mortal coil window if your partner stun your kill target at the end of you coil fear duration so you can get the 2nd bolt off without your target be able to pop defensives for the 2nd one. Or fear off target and then you casting a bolt on your kill target and your partner stun him so you can get the 2nd one off with him not able to use defensives like the mortal coil go. It will be your kill windows setup in general, having a friend that can stun a lot like a holy priest is great.
Make sure you cast bolt with your backdraft buff.
Beside that, just keep praticing, get a decent comp and make bond with teammates to climb the rating! You can watch jaggz or chanimal on twich/youtube for gameplay and guide as ressources.
