Long story short, I was hyped for shadowlands so I prepurchased a few months ago. With all the bad decisions that blizzard has made recently, lost interest and asked for a refund the other day. Keep in mind that I haven’t played a single minute of shadowlands so far.
I was denied because several months have passed since I prepurchased the expac…
I guess this is the nail in coffin. Blizz I’ve been with you since warcraft 1, played pretty much every game you made and spent a good deal of money on each one, but I guess you really don’t give a crap about anything except the money you fleece from people now. Hope ya’ll are having fun. Goodbye forever Blizz, I miss the good old days when you actually cared.

You lost me here. You haven’t played it but you’ve decided it’s horrible. It’s fine if you don’t feel drawn to play, but all companies have an expiration date on refunds, and you let it pass.

All of you on here posting about how you are leaving the game what are you doing here on the forums then? What are you looking to accomplish by posting youre leaving? You guys are full of it. You’re not going anywhere so please stop with the dramatics.

Well…I’m having fun. This so far has been so much better than BFA. I normally do not preorder until the very last second because things change on a regular basis.
Those who have been with this game for a good bit of time, have a good idea of it.

Torghast has been a lot of fun, but I can see it getting old pretty quick if they do not spruce it up.

Dungeons are fun, great vault for mythic+ was an awesome idea too.

The raid is done very well

The music, art and zones were done very well

Enjoying the story so far, but I will need to get deeper into it in later patches.

Glad to see some older abilities come back.
Keep in mind this is my own experience, but so far this expansion has been great and while it is still at the start, I am looking forward to seeing where it goes. If people do not enjoy it, I guess it was not your cup of tea, perhaps it is time to unsub and move on to other hobbies, there are so many things out there that you may enjoy.

Like, if you haven’t played it… It’s a decent expac so far. The new loot structure has some really nice aspects to it. A few flaws granted but overall pretty solid. Dungeons are great, made even better with M+. Raid is pretty good so far (Mettlestars). Love the aesthetic in it.
Idk maybe actually play it and give it a chance?

I’m glad you are having fun on the game. But the idea that I can’t get a refund even though I haven’t even downloaded the patch to start the game is stupid. Sorry that I changed my mind AFTER I prepurchased the game. Why should I have to play the game to realize that I don’t want to spend a bunch of my free time grinding up the next big thing?
People who pre-purchase digital goods get what’s coming for them. Just don’t…

2 things are mandatory , everything else is at your own pace to unlock cosmetic and mounts !!!
Torghast : Just enough to craft legendaries , The mandatory part is for the questline and to get at least 1 legendary(im bout to craft a second one since ive been capping torghast but would easily just be able to do whatever i can each week and live with 1 legendary)
Renown : The story of this expansion , mandatory to unlock a lot of things .
Every single other thing , the maw , optional , covenant stuff, optional , reputation , optional … wqs , optional , anima power , optional …
Like I said, learned my lesson and will never give blizzard any more of my money. I’m just venting my frustration at blizzard at the one place they are paid to look at.
This isn’t even the issue.
The issue is that you waited THIS long to get a refund.
Always read the fine print, for everything. You are putting it on Blizz when this is entirely your fault.
