Hey Blizz, when can our characters get the option to lean on stuff? It would be fun for RP and by the looks of it all the races already have the option for NPCs… fingers crossed for the day when sitting is not the only thing my character can do to hang out…

Agree!! When??
It would be interesting to see everyone leaning on walls everywhere I go, so yes I agree!
If we all lean at the same time, in the same direction, can we tip the planet and finally dislodge that nuisance of a giant toothpick in Silithus?
Why stop at /lean? I’d also love a /cast1 or /cast2 emote that allow us to play spell casting animations, minus the effects. Or /combatstance. That sort of stuff.
We will also need “/tiphat” and “/lowersunglasses”
I…STILL…NEEED…AN …ACTUAL…BOOOK!
And stay leaning when we go AFK, not lean and then sit down when it changes to AFK!
Things like /pounce and /tiny violin also need animation… we just REALLY lack in the animation department for an RPG and it shows.
I would absolutely love posture options. Resting your hand on the hilt of your sword, always holding your staff like a walking stick (even using it for your casting abilities) and the option to never store it on your back, keeping your arms crossed. New afk options as well, like juggling or tossing an object in the air and zapping it with magic or shooting it with some physical object.
Imagine if Microsoft actually invested money into bringing the basic things like character interactions into the late 2000’s in terms of actual quality and standard?

I doubt we’ll ever get that as an emote, but there may someday be interactable walls you can lean on like how we can sit in certain chairs.
I was thinking about that… like it gets a mouse over action icon near a bar, railing or wall…
It’d be neat of you could /lean against another player tha’ts /leaning. Back to back. Like, an old TV show promo, where the main characters do that as the camera rotates around them.
In the meantime you can…
DISCLAIMER: Goblins may or may not have landmines on their head. Be advised that leaning on goblins may be hazardous to your health. Gnomes recommended as a safer alternative. Lean on goblins at your own peril.
In this day and age /lean is considered offensive. We don’t want to offend people.
We’ll just have to have Flynn teach us. He leans on things all the time.
On the scene w that gangsta’ lean
i love my lean emote on FFXIV
Love the Club Nouveau cover of that song
