Leak from WoW site reveals 10.0 name

You forgot that time we fought the old warlords from Draenor, called Warlords of Draenor.

Or when we finally passed through the mists surrounding Pandaria, in Mists of Pandaria.

Or that expansion where some kinda Cataclysm happened.

Or…

Ahem. Basically, you’re right.

It can’t be worst than this.

I am legitimately nostalgic when the biggest criticism of the game wasn’t (BfA) “but we still don’t know why Sylvanas even did all this and didn’t even get a satisfying conclusion for the Alliance, the Horde rebels, or the Horde loyalists!! Who was this even for?!?” or “but we still, still don’t know why Sylvanas caused all this!! Or what Zovaal was even talking about!! I need to read a book to understand why the last two expansions even happened?!?!?”

I will take laser-shooting Thrall and depowered dragons over that crap any given day. It can objectively get worse as proven by the last four years.

We know why Sylvanas did everything now. Whether or not the answers were satisfying is another manner. As for the factions, they’ll be fine given enough time for BFA to fade from relevancy as an expansion.

SILENCE YOU FOOL BLIZZ WILL HEAR YOU <.< >.>

It can ALWAYS be worse.

I mean, I did say it was in the book.

I don’t read entire replies before writing a response and I don’t plan to start.

Afterlife is unfair apparently but… why? What was unfair about it?

You die. Death god sends your soul to an afterlife depending on your actions and the end.
Seems pretty standard. What was the objective? What had to be changed in shadowlands to make her happy? And her methods she went around making other people undead, making mind slaves out of her captives to… serve the jailer?

Oh but not her though. She is the exception to the rule as always.
Come on dude Sylvanas is less than clear and we still don’t know much as at all. Even with the new book out.

Fair enough!

This is, quite literally explained in the book. People are just shuffled off to afterlives to spend eternity in with no real control of where they go and no prospect of being reunited with their families.
Don’t let your hatred of Sylvanas make you illiterate.

They could turn Elune into the Dragon God who created the Dragons as well as created the 6 Cosmic Forces(ala Soo-Won the Water Elder Dragon of Guild Wars 2) after her Fairy Goddess Sister got killed somehow necessitating her being stuffed into a Robot…

The whisper "The fall of night reveals her true face. She will bring only ruin." from N’Zoth as well as "Night falls. Her song will end." from Barrowknoll Cemetery which Oracle Saezurah corroborates: "Her dreams sing beneath the surface. Quiet now, but her voice will awaken the others."

Elune going all Soo-Won may get enough of the Fans begging for her to be spared that Blizzard might save her even if the Winter Queen dies off in her stead by giving her own Energies to save her.

Of course if they did that we might start asking if they stole the idea from Guild Wars Devs or if White Wolf’s turning the Dragon Aspects into Titan Creations delayed the 5 Dragons led by the 6th Dragon who created the World Plot long enough for the guys who ditched WoW to make Guild Wars to do the Plot themselves.

Yeah just because you are family doesn’t mean you get to stick together. You get sent to the afterlife you deserve, not the one you want.
Just because I can read it doesn’t mean I lose all critical thinking skills.

Even the good ones are terrible. Mind erasing cults and slavery are not particularly fun. Even Pelagos acknowledges how wrong everything is that compassion is needed in the judgement of souls.

And Sylvanas took that personally. Lmao. But seriously. No. It isn’t about “deserve” unless you’re bound for Revendreth or the Maw. It’s about functionality for the Shadowlands. I’m sure you’d be happy spending all of eternity away from your family and friends fulfilling some purpose to the Shadowlands that was decided for you, but most people would probably dislike that.
It’s kind of funny that the biggest complaint surrounding Shadowlands as a setting is that it kind of sucks to go there after you die. But as soon as its revealed that Sylvanas’s motivation is thinking the Shadowlands sucks people are like “Hurr what sucks so much about the shadowlands? Elf lady being unreasonable”

We only saw four, the afterlives are infinite.

Is that what Sylvanas was striving for? Compassion?

Again I get judged based on my actions so… if I end up somewhere crappy thats reaping what I sowed.

What was the vision of the afterlife Sylvanas wanted to create? Explicitly.
What was the new Shadowlands supposed to look like? Because it stayed literally exactly the same except the judger is now compassionate.

Not an argument or refutation of my point or the main idea behind behind Sylvanas’s reasoning.

That was not replying to you but Nathriem. I specifically quoted my replies to you.

So it literally stayed the same except the arbiter will now place people based on their happiness instead of just wherever benefits the shadowlands the most? Damn. Seems like an improvement to me.

You said the system is messed up. Familys will still get seperated and they will still be sent to the afterlives to play a role or even be used as a resource. None of that has changed.
And you didn’t answer the question.

What was the change Sylvanas wanted to make? Hire a new guy as the arbiter?

Zovaal filled her head with crap.

Said some stuff that appealed to sylvannas and make it seem like so and so wasnt her fault.

She eventually realizes zovaal was the origin of her suffering.

Comes full circle, zovaal lied to her and now supposedly he was trying to unite the afterlife to fight some mysterious threat.
