Still looking for anywhere with a 3080. I don’t wanna break down and buy from a scalper, because that just hurts everybody.

Some of the manufactured like MSI are making changes to their boards, you may want to wait and let them iron out their heat and cap issues first.

AMD is literally releasing new cards in less than a month. Nvidia is probably going to counter those cards with new RTX 30 series cards Ti, more memory etc). Not to mention the RTX 3080 is having some issues right now.
Unless you desperately need to buy a new graphics card, just wait another month or two.
I have a partially complete build sitting in my office right now. My current PC has been having some sporadic issues, and it’s really ancient (for a gaming PC). I really want to have this new one done for shadowlands launch, but I lose a little more hope every day.
Can you just transfer your gpu temporarily?
Probably what I’ll have to do at this stage.
