Criteria for dethroning the guild lead needs a tweak. The guild I’m currently in has a leader that has not been active in 5 months but because he demoted everybody to the lowest possible rank, nobody can dethrone him. My hunter is about the only character that ever logs on and I’d like to take over the guild and at least try and get it back up and running but I can’t because our lead won’t log on and the last time he did, he wouldn’t even promote me so we could possibly try and get more active members.
I realy doubt this is gona change as it is the system that was wanted by the player You have 2 choiices id avoid 1 to avoid the trolling.
Post in general feedback isnt collected here.
use the ingame suggestion feature my prefered method.
That’s how the guild master wanted his guild to be setup. Blizzard used to be able to take requests for guild dethrone when someone wasn’t logging for a while. Then they made the auto-dethrone system where a guild member, regardless of rank, could do it. But player feedback about it had it change where rank 1-3 could dethrone only after ~3 months of being inactive.
Like others said post in general if you want to see a change. But remember the devs set it up this way to give guild masters the tools to keep their guild under their control even if they step away from the game.
Yep. This was purposely done because several people were upset that they were returning after long breaks to missing guilds.
You’ll likely want to consider generating a new guild.
Dethroning is meant for when the Guild Leader wanted someone else to take it over for them in case of (unexpected) long term absentia.
In this case, they did not want anyone to take it over and intentionally demoted everyone. That’s on purpose. You may restart the guild with adding a word or something.
