Exactly! I felt like they did really good with Ardenweald and the Night Fae compared to the other covenants.
It was a fourth wall break that probably wasn’t meant to be one to me. Perfect timing lol

Dont forget in the preview behind our heros is sylvanas without her iconic armor just a blue skinned elf being redeamed. With the help of a hero Uther…redeaming a mass murderer.

The interesting part is that you can be self-aware of the tropes you’re using, and even joke about it in the writing, but when that’s literally the only outlier of the trope itself and you do nothing else to address the problems with using these tired tropes, or at the very least make it interesting, then what are you even writing for?
Elune had the most potential to be something cool and open up the story in new ways and now she’s literally just a doofus.

I suspected that Uther was being used to prop up Sylvanas with all that “split soul” stuff in Bastion. But I never imagined they’d go this far.

I have to admit that Bastion is far and away the best and complex storyline. Basically the center of of which the others our a part.
Ardenweild is cute. Revendreth is cool, but, predictable, Maldraxxus is fascinating, (and I’m hooked on that music.) Of course it helps that Draka has always been one of my favorite characters.
The rest of the story? I’m withholding judgment until I see where this is ultimately take us - despite the drip line.
