AQ gates opening are going to be a nightmare and we are all going to need layers again, so why even bother?
Dragon bosses aren’t an issue the gear isn’t very relevant high pop servers still have so many extra people it wont matter… and changes made to classic thus far make “#nochanges” irelevant please leave layers on these servers.

It’s not really unexpected for anyone actually playing on those servers. I can only speak for what I’ve seen on Arugal and that’s people logging in and staying logged in as soon as word gets out that the queues have started. Which very quickly turns into a snowball effect, as the queues get worse prompts people to log in earlier to secure thier place which then makes the queues worse…
Opening up character creation again and the influx of bots onto the server as a result also hasn’t helped matters.

Please layer Netherwind soon; it has a lot of lag and has weekly queues nights and weekends. Sometimes there are even queues on Netherwind weekday mornings!
It’s overrun with full bot teams and Chinese gold farmer spam (yes, half of the spam is in Chinese, but also has links and costs for gold). Of course, the real solution is for Blizzard to stop taking payola from gold farmers to look the other way (they’re mostly hackers and organized crime, hello!) but as that hasn’t happened in 15 years, it won’t happen now either.

Here we go again… did you not learn anything last time? Layering just kicks the can further down the road rather than dealing with the problem. Queues will keep coming back until people MOVE OFF THE REALM. They won’t do this if you layer it up to allow them to ignore the problem.
Netherwind has 6320 people reporting in on ironforge.pro/servers, and that’s mainly just the raiders.
What really needs to happen is all the bots and gold farmers desperately require banning; that would alleviate the lag and queues. But don’t pretend to any of us who play on Netherwind that it doesn’t need layering.
Being against layering “just because it wasn’t there at launch” when triple the players of launch are piling onto the Classic servers of today is ridiculous.
Bots and gold farmers need to move off the realm: They’re the cause of the queues and lag. But do you really believe for a minute that Blizzard is going to ban them?
