Ya, I think that would be similar to turning the fences off in Jurassic Park. Dinosaurs would start eating servers and queue times would be indefinite.

Server cap is independent of layers. A server cap of 10,000 means 10,000 people can log in, not 10 different layers of 1,000.
Think about it. If there was a que to login to a layer, you would have a que every time you tried to join a party to switch layers.
Removing layering won’t affect ques, it will just make some zones really populated.

What is layering?
I have no idea what this term means.
It should have a ~10min cooldown. The fact that it doesn’t should cost somebody their job. The only people defending it are the ones who want to abuse it and keep their advantage.

To prevent overcrowding in starting areas, the devs created “layers” to the world so that they could have multiple versions of the same zone running in parallel. That way, only a portion of all logged players would interact with one another. Think of it as how instances work, but in the world at large.

im playing on a full Server but 90% of the time im playing in a almost dead layer with just a few Players
if i attack someone in pvp which is rare because i dont see much Players in the empty layers they just warp away

No you wouldnt, realms still have queues, and turning off all the layers except for one would put the vast majority of the playerbase in a never ending queue, and if you ever got in you would try to stay connected to the server for en entire week.
They can do things that wont crater the game.
So glad you make it obvious that you have no idea what you are talking about and can be safely dismissed as a troll.
