I’m fine with it, just prefer some warning
It definitely looks like they removed layering in Kromcrush. First time for a queue in a long time.
Good times!
I tried logging into Sulfuras. Saw the queue and estimated waiting time. Turned on Endless Space 2 instead.
What’s the que time for sulfuras right now?
I got so used to the no que, now it feels like launch all over again
Started at 22 minutes. After a minute it went up. Decided I don’t want to sit around for at least a half hour when it’s already nighttime and I will likely only have an hour from now or so before I need to get some sleep. I guess if I want to play WoW on weeknights from now on, I need to log in when I get home and not bother doing anything else.
Was there some sort of communication that I missed? While I’m all for removing layering, it seems to warrant some sort of heads up, no?
I’m not impressed Blizz.
They were going to remove layering eventually. I mean they already gave you a heads up about that.
Stalagg actually has a queue again. Don’t relog lol.
But that’s no reason to not make a clear statement on when it will happen. A general heads up about something happening in the near future doesn’t preclude clear messaging on timelines.
What’s the que time on stalagg?
I’m starting to think this was unintended… Strange that an announcement didn’t hit the forums yet.
This is amazing. This is how it should’ve always been.
Things are pretty hectic right before Blizzcon. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some sort of missed communication between the Classic server engineers and the community managers.
Or maybe the CMs went home for the day and then the engineers decided they have some free time tonight to tinker with layers.
Issue with this is, all realms were down to 2 layers some time ago.
So, at most, it doubled the population in Org.
So, if that’s what it looks like now, it was half that before this change.
Was 15 mins (400 in line) not that long ago
I was on Grob an hour ago, checking AH/Mail, no queue. Logged in now, and it’s 1000 long queue. So maybe layering is gone?
Not unexpected though, with Blizzcon around the corner and they are likely going to announce Phase 2 in Blizzcon itself.
They needed layering gone before Blizzcon as a large part of the main people will likely be at the event. So after Blizzcon and Phase 2 starts, Blizzard can say they kept their promise of layering gone by P2.
Fairbanks is perfect. Not packed but every city is bustling with players. Every zone has at least a few people in them. It does feel like the majority of the server are level 60 though.
Level 60s play more than others so they’re more likely to be logged in at any given time.
