I have not been able to layer on-demand for several days now. No one in my family is able to do it. We can join a group and sit there for 20 minutes but never layer. This has been incredibly frustrating. Was a change put into place or is there something wrong?

This my guess, but we’re dealing with less and less layers as people burn out of P1. If a layer is full, the person that invited you won’t be able to layer you over, thus leaving you there.
Not to mention the 10 minute CD for layering, but probably because layers are full.

I find that if someone in the party logs out And back in it will layer you to the group. Have to do this all the time with my 2nd account if I want to make myself ports and whatnot

Just happend to me, I was trying to get off of a layer for 15 mins, joined like 3 layer groups and no luck.
So I started finishing up quest in a zone, I am not in a group atm mind you, and as I am in the middle of killing a Elite Quest MOB I get freaking LAYERED…
But what do you expect from a group of developers that do not even play the game they work on.
