Lets warm it up yo.

Someone in Orgrimmar just handed in a Ony Head, it took 6 minutes for it to register for players - everyone is lagging like mad.

Cast times for your mount are now taking up to 10-20 seconds

I hate that when I get home from work now I can’t just relax, make some lunch, play with my dogs then logon and play with my friends.

Now I have to B-line straight to the PC and get in the queue, and once im past the (currently 1k queue at 3:37pm) make sure i constantly check back on my PC so i don’t get logged out. All so I can play wow later with my friends when Im ready to.

Sounds like the Blizz quality fix has gone through successfully. :smirk:

This should be the official #layerarugal thread.

#LayerArugal

The title basically says it all. My account renewed yesterday and I just cancelled it. Unless I take the active step to renew it again it will expire on September 23rd. I will not be taking that step unless the queues on Arugal are resolved.

I’m recently married with a full time job that doesn’t allow me much time to play the game. When I play, it’s often unplanned, when I get a free moment between work and doing stuff with the wife. Unplanned play is out the window with 3 hour queues. Remote Login is also basically not a possibility given my workplace.

So you have a month Blizzard. Make my subscription worth the money.

I recommend others that want to play, but can’t play due to queues, do the same as me. Cancel and play out your remaining game time. They don’t have an automatic right to your money.

Switch to a server that doesn’t have a queue. That would be my advice.

I’m not paying $40 on top of my subscription to get the service I’ve been getting for the last few months.

Not to mention it’d involve leaving my guild. I’d rather quit. So, as I said in my post, Blizzard have a month to fix what they broke. Then my game time is gone and so am I.

Why the hell do you people keep posting here?

You can’t spam these forums with nothing but layer Arugal posts and then turn around and tell anyone else “You don’t understand your opinion is invalid” you just made it our business by choosing to post here.

Take this to your own server reddit, server forums, or write tickets to Blizzard directly. If this was meant to garner sympathy then you’ve done a horrible job.

I am a little curious as to why this doesn’t seem to be a problem for the other megaservers.

Is Arugal the largest?

pretty much, Only oce Server with Aq gates open so soon as xfers opened multiple guilds xfered across

It seems very odd to me that people hold this position. If I want the best for the game, and I think a feature harms the game, I do not care if it directly affects me. I still would want the feature removed.

Now, this isn’t me taking a stance against layering, I am only criticizing the logical thought process of the “it doesnt affect you” defense.

Everyone not understanding the oceanic issue, yall should be aware that all the arugal rollers could either move their Mains or if they refuse to pay (which is valid) reroll on yojamba.

But they would rather cry and make layering a permanent thing, not only for them but also for the rest of the servers, regardless of the fact that classic was not supposed to have permanent layering anyway

To give you a brief background, Arugal is home to Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands, and South East Asia. This server represents the Oceania region best.

When Blizzard announced Classic, they only gave Oceania one server - Arugal. They forced all of our countries into a single server on launch day, and only after launch they decided to introduce more servers for Oceania.

This resulted in everyone pouring into one realm, after reserving their names and organizing their Guilds - and after the initial hype of the first launch day.

Our server is massive, and due to all these countries no matter what time of the day you’'re on there’s a large population as our server covers a large timezone.

The other issue is that all the other Oceanic servers that were created after Launch, migrate to our server on mass with paid server transfers as Blizzard continuously removes the lock.

Our situation is quite unique to other mega servers.

i hope if blizzard does give arugal layering back, it is limited to just arugal. i would not like to see layers back on faerlina and whitemane. we do not need them, we dont even have queues.

Arugal’s situation is not unique compared to North America.

Almost all of the original NA servers at launch are still megaservers with queue times and massive overpopulation and people who rolled at launch had no choice but to start on one of them too.

Arugal isn’t even bigger than Herod you act like we’re talking about a server as if it’s hosting half of Australia when it’s like 8000 people.

You’re not on Arugal for one, and secondly as I have personally mentioned to you in the past on a few occasions when this topic has been raised previously - almost all players on Arugal want Layers.

The people that act like Layers are “harming” the community are often players outside of our realm.

When Arugal has two layers, it’s great - both layers are still heavily active and populated. To give you some more context, a week ago despite Arugal having 2 layers - we still had a queue for AQ’s opening.

Uh, what the hell are you talking about?

North America was allocated at least 30 servers on Launch Day if I recall correctly, Ocenaia was given one server to accommodate for Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands, and South East Asia.

To even compare our server statistics with American mega servers just makes you sound foolish.
