Just… ugh.
When they aren’t shooting dogs for no reason or people in the back ofc.
I had a big response typed up, but I’m just gonna express how sad I am for those of you against this thread. I’d be willing to wager the vast majority of you wouldn’t last an hour in the position on an easy day.
Keep living in your bubble and thinking the world is peaches and cream. Try not to be too offended because the thread isn’t bashing Blizz, about someone quitting, or how some other game is better than WoW.
I could add more topics, but I’ll refrain from offending y’all further.
of all things to bury - all sorts of off topic posts on here that don’t get buried
How hard is it not to shoot a dog? For real. You don’t need special training to not shoot a damn animal haha.
Well, considering how they teach cops to view citizens as the enemy…
Anyway folks, take it from someone who has law enforcement in the family: the cops are not your friends. They just aren’t.
- Would have terrible real world effects.
- Doesn’t necessarily mean what you think it means.
Players have a lot of tools to deal with rude players without resorting to reports. In fact, back in the day when GMs were much more present there weren’t all that many things they’d intervene on. Outside of real world threats, their most common recommendation was to just put the person on ignore.
Much love to our officers and people who keep us safe.
Hello, I see you made a thread about police. I’m thankful for our law enforcement, constantly making sure there isn’t an overabundance of donuts across the country! I salute you!
Thanks for your post and have a great day!
I can’t speak for other cities, but I can speak for Memphis as my Automotive Repair Shop is still located there and I was a resident of Memphis for over 30 years. I currently live in Horn Lake, Mississippi, which is 4 miles from the Tennessee state line and the city of Memphis. I moved here in 2004 due to crime in Memphis being out of control. In Memphis, the majority of citizens really are the enemy of police. You ever hear people talking about places in their city that cops don’t want to go into? Well, that’s THREE QUARTERS of the city of Memphis… it’s that bad. Out of the three cars in my driveway, two have bullet holes in them just from driving I-240 and I-55 on my way to work. We installed 1/4" plate steel in the door panels of all of our vehicles… not saying that they’re bulletproof, but it will at least slow the velocity of the round… these clowns tend to shoot at a vehicle’s body panels instead of the glass, so I guess I can count myself lucky that they can’t shoot straight. Innocent kids are injured or killed almost every day from drive by shootings, road rage incidents, etc.
Consider all the crime, consider the fact that no one wants to be a “rat” so they keep their mouth shut about suspect information and then whine because they think the police aren’t doing anything since NO ONE will come forward to help solve these crimes, and then take a look at all of these “Google Lawyers” that refuse to cooperate with the police even when they are just asked for identification- “I know muh rights, lolz, googles says you can’t detain me”, then factor in these “Sovereign Citizen” nutjobs… you really want to judge a police officer for having ZERO trust of ANYONE they pull over or interact with? Looks to me like you need to step outside once in a while and see what this world has become.
Don’t worry, LEOs, those of us with common sense still have your back.
Hello, I see you replied to the thread. That is interesting information, Memphis is apparently one of the most dangerous cities in the country! I know a lot of people like to talk about Chicago, but it doesn’t even show up in the top 100!
Thanks for your post and have a great day!
Memphis has made the top 10 List every time in the past 25 years, but usually ranks in the top 3. We seem to be in a war with St. Louis and Detroit on who can be the most violent. I think this year we were only ranked as the second most dangerous place to live.
Come to Memphis for the music and BBQ, stay because you got murdered.
Ever hear that song “Walking in Memphis”? It was probably written because his wheels were stolen off of his rental car the last time he was here…
