I’m not here to complain “I don’t like this talent” or “Talent tree icky, Blizz no like shaman.”
I just want the spells to work the way they should. Right now, Elemental Blast is not replacing Lava Burst. I know it’s a bug, but it was a bug on beta that two a few weeks to fix. I’d rather not wait a few weeks for this fix in the live version of the game.
Enh is currently using an outdated beta build instead of the current one for some unknown reason. So not only are you getting the bugs from during the old version, enh is also missing half its changes like the reduced talent point costs. 2 point nodes to 1.
Slightly disappointing but the amount of stuff they added recently is insane so if it works in a week I’ll be glad.
Bumping but also to get visibility for Blizz to note and bug fix. Ele Blast isn’t replacing Lava Burst and isn’t granting the second charge. thus breaking the elementalist build .
Enhancement shamans haven’t been good enough to play 11.0 yet. We are still in like 10.2.5
We are grounded from current content because we upset someones feeling at some stage apparently.
My theory is that someone on the dev team desperately wants to play shaman but won’t touch anything that isn’t an elf.
Until race/class restrictions fully erode away, he’s going to make his pain our pain.
Is that why the Skyfury icon is an elf?
My guess is it’s someone who got Windfury one shot back in the day. From that day forward he vowed to get into blizzard and make sure enhancement was never a threat again.

And fixing bugs that make the class stronger than intended. But if the bug breaks your class and makes it unplayable, well that is ok. I’m just a little irritated.
I am a LOT irritated. They waited until the end of beta to begin a shaman re-work and then “decided” not to give us the updated talents and instead gave us a bugged patch with 1 charge of ele blast
I was being a bit diplomatic. My main is now resto/enhance shaman. And not being able to play one of those specs right now is not ok.
Still not fixed after server maintenance.

You are absolutely right. Skyfury’s icon features a Night elf. Of all the things they could have picked…
The tooltip icon is also reused for the “Ascending Air” talent in the Shaman tree…
I found the icon in my trp3 mod, apparently it’s the icon that’s supposed to represent the ascended air elementalist boss from Vault of the Incarnates.
I mean yes but it’s literally Dathea the Ascended and she was a primalist so it makes a little sense.
Now give shamans her Ascendence form.
Is there anyone from wowhead that reads these forums that could possibly make an article exposing the bug?
I feel like they respond to articles on wowhead more than here … let’s face it. We’re posting in the slums here lol.
